About Ohana
Moving in Maui should be exciting: but too often, it's a gamble. You find the perfect one-bedroom ohana: great price, awesome location, feels like home. You sign the lease, unpack, and hope for the best. Sometimes you get lucky: the landlord respects your space, and life is good. Other times...they make your stay miserable.
The truth is, renting in Maui is stressful and unpredictable. Landlords can be amazing (or a nightmare) and tenants usually don't know which until it's too late.
That's why we built Ohana.
Think of your favorite restaurant review app, but for rentals. A place where tenants can share their real experiences, anonymously and always free, so others know what they're walking into before signing the lease.
Ohana also gives landlords a fair system: our Terms protect against doxxing and slander, and landlords can request review removal if it crosses the line.
Your voice matters. Whether your landlord was hands-off and respectful or a total headache, your review helps the next tenant make an informed choice, and helps build leverage for renters across Maui.
How It Works
Tenants can leave reviews and ratings of their rental experiences. Landlords may respond or flag reviews that violate our community terms.
